We are two friends and goldsmiths, Zoe Nina & Frouks and work together in our store BLOU. Our collaboration began a few years ago, when Zoe Nina found out she wasn’t attending the right study and figured out jewelry making actually suited her better. Moreover, she inherited a huge and very special collection of gems and received extensive interest in the profession. After attending a course, they asked Froukje if she could teach her the art, as used to be “apprenticed” to learn the craft. Frouks is already longer working as a goldsmith and thought it would be really nice to work together and teach Zoë Nina the profession. After having shared the studio together for a while, and appreciating working together, a shop in the city centre came along. At first we were thought we were not interested, but before we knew it we said “YES” !
You’ll find our shop BLOU in the Spiegelkwartier. There you will find both our collections, which are quite different, as well as varying guest exhibitors of both art and jewelry.
